History

From our inception in 2005 until July 2019, the “Good Mood Foundation” was singularly committed to providing the “Faith Component” to those struggling with mental health and addiction issues. And from February 2012 until July 2019, we were hopelessly devoted in “public ministry” to the “in-patients” at a local psychiatric and addiction facility (Carrollton Springs). We provided the patients with various aspects of ministry centered around what we called, “Engaging with God” and “Sing SOME of Your ‘Blues’ Away.”

And from 2015 to 2019, if I wasn’t ministering to the patients or involved in the many things “behind the scenes” to make that ministry possible, I was at my computer writing. The fruit of that effort is two manuscripts, “Next Year in Jerusalem-is Now!” and “Shofars and Temple Trumpets.” These and my first book, “My Pursuit of a Good Mood” are available for free on our website for anyone to read, print or download. GoodMoodFoundation.org.

Yes, the “Good Mood Foundation” is still about our desire to see people live life in a “good mood.” However, the Good Mood Foundation is no longer exclusively providing a ministry to those struggling with mental health and addiction issues. We added our “Israel Ministry” and “Last Days Ministry,” which corresponds to my new manuscripts, “Next Year in Jerusalem-is Now!” and “Shofars and Temple Trumpets.”

Yes, God cares deeply for those struggling with mental health and addiction issues as well as all “issues,” too. However, God’s Heart is centrally connected to “Jerusalem,” “Israel,” and the “Jewish People.” As a reminder, Jerusalem is the “City of God,” and the Jewish People are the ”Apple of His Eye.” So, when God wants to do “something,” He will often send the Jew(s) to start His “project,” or He will begin with Gentile People and then send a Jew(s) to help them. That said, there is only ONE instrument that gets God’s attention-the Shofar Trumpet. After all, the Sound of the Shofer Trumpet will be the “LAST” sound Christians hear before Jesus “Gathers” them to be with Him.

That said, now, that our hospital ministry is in the rearview mirror, we are moving forward in the direction God has been preparing me over the last four years (and most of my life), “Israel” and “His Trumpet.”

Therefore, whenever you see a picture of “Jerusalem,” “Star of David,” or similar, please remember to pray for “Jerusalem,” “Israel,” the “Jewish People,” and for “me.”
